about

The story begins in January 2019. At the time my favorite youtube channel was NakeyJakey, (His content is still fire btw, you should subscribe). So on this particular night my neighbor Tokey Dan and I were hanging out and throwing back Coors Lights and Jose Cuervo. Halfway through scrolling youtube of all the meme comps we could, I realized Dan had not seen the new NakeyJakey video. I say, "Danny you got to see this vid right now!" He was down. I had a problem though, I was out of Coorslight. The NakeyJakey video was roughly 15 minutes. I thought, "You know what? This is enough time to hop on the razor scooter, pop over to the Super A and pick up some more beers." The plan had been made up in my mind. I had enough time to execute the mission. So I start the video, I hop on the scooter, and away I go. I had taken this ride many times before; knowing every crack in the sidewalk along the way. However, given my intoxication and the lack of sunlight, I misjudged where one specific crack was. I soared over the handlebars putting my right hand out to bare the weight. The hand didn't hold and I broke it. It was a small bone called the Triquetral bone or the Triquetrum. My right hand was to be in a half cast for 6 weeks. Not being able to play guitar I began to write songs on my keyboard. I would start with the drum beat and work my way up. Tapping out bass lines and simple melodies with my left hand. The initial tracking was done in my room on an 8 track recorder, while final mixing & overdubs were done with my friend Ian Lipson. I hope you dig 'Triquetrum'
